Unfortunately, there's a huge deal-breaker in any Kobe Bryant to the Chicago Bulls deal: Luol Deng.
The Bulls are adamant about keeping him. The Los Angeles Lakers won't consider a deal without him. However, if the Lakers get Deng and Ben Gordon, Bryant may not want to go there and try to win with what's left.

Chicago Bulls GM John Paxson knows the limitations of complimentary players, such as he was. Which brings us to Michael Jordan.
Jordan led the Bulls to six NBA titles, three with Paxson included. Teamwork, yes. But genius led the way.
Which is why Kobe Bryant wants to be a Bull. So he can be Michael in Michael's town. Talent may override all in the 10-man game with the orange ball.
